Vintage Kosta Boda Large Glass Lion Figurine from the Zoo Series by Erik Höglund 1970s

A handsome Swedish mid-century modern standing lion figurine in clear glass, designed by Erik Höglund in the 1970s for the Kosta Boda Zoo collection. This is the largest of several sizes of lions made as part of the Zoo Series. It is a beautiful piece of art glass in perfect condition.

Designed to be a paperweight, it might seem large but works perfectly when placed flat on its back. It’s beautiful placed in a window.

Measure: 10 ¼”inches long, 6 ½”inches tall, 2 ¼”inches wide at the bottom of the feet.
