Vintage Banana Republic Safari Vest 1986

For real adventure gear here is an authentic 1980 Banana Republic Travel Safari Vest in size Medium. This vest has traveled the globe for real and is from the Brands original expedition-era days before its acquisition by The GAP.

The classic features:

Multi-pocket design with zippers and Velcro tabs

100% Heavy weight cotton in classic khaki exterior and light weight cotton lining interior.

The collar converts to a hood with a zipper.

It retains its original label: red and green Banana Republic with yellow bananas and a star logo with Mill Valley California below.

It retains its original fabric, size label. Made in Taiwan and washing instructions on the underside.

Pre-owned gently used. One condition issue, a small wear hole on the collar. You can see it in photo 6 or 7.
