Midcentury Tiffany & Co Makers Sterling Silver Candlesticks Pattern 23421

Pair of Midcentury Modern sterling silver low candlesticks. Made by Tiffany & Co Makers in New York. Each candlestick’s tall and tapering socket with flared rim and incised bands mounted to c-scroll with bead and scroll support, in turn, mounted to gently raised round base. They are unweighted.

Fully hallmarked: Tiffany & Co Makers, Sterling Silver, postwar pattern no. 23421, and director's letter M - Louis deBebian Moore (1947-56).

Included are two (2) vintage unmarked silverplate bobeches that fit these candlesticks perfectly. Bobeche: French or American term meaning a candle socket to catch drippings on a candlestick.

The condition is excellent. Preowned and gently used.
