Offered for his sartorial pleasure is this vintage silk necktie by Pierre Cardin. An ancient madder paisley pattern on a black background in blue, green and dashes of red.

Measures: 56” in length and at its widest point 3 ¾”

It’s in perfect vintage condition. Original label attached, which reads: Cravates Pierre Cardin Paris, Modele Depose, Made in France

HISTORY:

From 1945-1949 he worked in the famous fashion houses of Paquin, Schiaparelli, and Christian Dior. In 1950 he opened is own business designing masks and costumes for the theater. In 1953 he presents his first women’s collection and by 1957 he is working on his menswear collection. In the 1960s even a line of porcelain crockery. Into the 1980s he began to design children’s clothes. The brand is international and Pierre Cardin has been honored worldwide with awards in fashion, design and art in the US, Russia, France and Germany.
