Mid Century Arabia Pomona Pattern Strawberry Dishes - Four – 3 Piece Place Settings – 12 pieces total

Mid-century dishware featuring the strawberry pattern, Mansikka in Finnish.
Designed by Raija Uosikkinen and produced from 1965-1975. One of the most desirable designs. Each piece is marked Arabia, Made in Finland. Each piece has a number code which gives the month and year the piece was made.

Dinner Plates: 4 pcs – 9” inches in diameter and 1” inch raised lip. (one plate has a slight flaw, may be production related or a small chip – see photo #9

Salad Plates: 4 pcs – 7 ¾” inches in diameter and 1” inch raised lip.

Soup/Salad/Cereal Bowls: 4 pcs – 7” inches in diameter and 2” inches deep.

Condition: The condition is excellent for the age and overall use. The glaze of all the pieces in the set is vibrant and bright.No cracks, crazing or chips in any of the salad plates or bowls. One of the dinner plates has what looks like a slight production defect, but it could be a small chip at the rim. I had to look very closely to see it. Look at photograph #9
